A study from the University of California reveals that, when you gain weight, in lower part of body, the number of fat cells grows; while in upper part of body (from the waist and upwards) the size of these cells increases.
This excess fat, usually accompanied by flaccidity and sagging inside arms, can have different causes, starting from a generally excessive weight to a lack of tone in muscles from upper extremities, especially in the triceps.
However, if you want to lose fat in your armpit, follow these exercises, you must do 3 sets of 15 repetitions each.
1- Press with dumbbells
It is a great exercise for losing fat located under the armpit. Ideally, it should be done on a bench at 90º, although it can also be done standing up (and even lying on the floor).
Holding a dumbbell in each hand, it consists of placing them at shoulder height and lifting them until the arms are almost completely extended, although without blocking the elbows.
2- Push ups
Without a doubt, doing push-ups helps to strengthen muscles in arms, armpits, breasts and shoulders which, in turn, will help to remove love handles that are located around armpit.
3- Dumbbell lifts
With a weight in each hand, bend the trunk forward slightly. In this position, lift and lower arms located on the sides. This exercise that will increase fat burning in arms, armpits and chest.
4- Walk in side plank
Lying on our stomachs and supporting our hands and toes (so as not to touch our chests) we move sideways by opening and closing our legs, while crossing our arms.
This exercise is ideal for burning fat in arms and armpits and toning muscles in belly, limbs and back.
5- Clap your hands back
It is a very simple and effective practice that consists, in fact, simply in clapping with arms extended backwards and forwards. These claps should be paused and hold for a minimum 3 seconds in each position.
Do these exercises and you will be able to strengthen and increase volume in your arms, to tone your triceps and show off your armpit without excess fat.
