Water is essential for humans and for us to live our daily lives. Humans can spend up to weeks without eating but will not survive more than 3 days without water. This proves its importance for our body.

Here’s what can happen if you don’t drink enough water everyday

1- Dry skin

 

That reason explains itself. When you want soft, supple skin, you will not get it when you are dehydrated. When you use all types of skin creams but you still have dry skin try drinking more water and you will see the difference.

2- Dry mouth

Insufficient water means there will be less water for saliva production. This causes a dry mouth. This can also be a result of medications or serious damage to your mouth or throat.

3- You go to the toilet a lot

A normal person is going to pee in the toilet 6-7 times a day. This number can vary depending on each person’s life or physiology. If you go to the bathroom 2 or 3 times a day there is likely a problem. Kidneys need water to filter out impurities and reduced water intake can impair the kidney function.

4- Headaches

The dehydration causes headaches appear with the slightest movement. This may seem common, but sometimes it can be solved simply by drinking water. You’ ll be surprised at the difference this small change can make.

5- Dizziness

Many problems can be attributed to this, one of them is the great loss of water in our body.

6- Urine color

Water shortage can be noticed in urine color. If you’ re hydrated well urine is lightly colored. If you have not drunk enough water, the urine increases in colour and becomes dark yellow. Take care not to excessively correct this problem by drinking too much water at one time.

7- Hungry

Are you hungry when you finish eating? This may be your body is not able to know the difference between thirsty and hungry. When you are hungry, try drinking a glass of water and waiting a few minutes. Hunger will usually go away.
